Mack was my closest friend and fellow partner-in-mischief between the ages of 11 and 20. He was a Methodist choir & Youth Fellowship-er, an Eagle Scout, a dedicated engineer on the staff of the UT-Austin powerplant (gas turbines) system, a lifelong outdoorsman, guitar-player, avid canoeist, sandlot sports competitor, and a human fish in any swimming pool, great or small, going back to the days of the old Meyerland Club. The quantity and quality of our misadventures as youngsters more than rivals anything to be found in "American Graffiti" or "Dazed & Confused"... Adios, man! "If I don't meet you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one, and don't be late..."

R.I.P.M Mack
Good job, Don!
Did Mack live across the Meyerland ditch in the 5100 block near Danny Fults?
Sam Jones
Hi George, Mack did not live on the 5100 block on Indigo (I lived next door to Dan). He lived on the south side of Jason on Pritchett. Mack was a good dude. May he R.I.P. Sam

Sam, Sandy:
Mack's family lived on Indigo before they moved out to Los Angeles (ca. 1962), and not when Sam lived by Fults.
After they came back from LA they lived elsewhere...I don't know exactly when they moved into the 2-storey house on 8807 Ferris, but when I met Mack (late '64), they were living there.
Mack's daughter told me recently she had heard his brothers (Tom & Randall) talking about Indigo...

He lived down the street from me. Our address was 8610 Ferris. So sad to hear of his passing.
