With solemn reverence, we commemorate George Preston Pardue of Dallas, Texas, whose life came to an end on September 22, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
Sandy was loved by everyone who knew him and will truly be missed. https://www.echovita.com/us/obituaries/tx/dallas/george-pardue-20357647

It must have been Junior year because I was still at Bellaire. It was a Monday and I had gotten super sunburned that weekend. My skin was on fire and it hurt to move. I was walking up the stairs among a crowd of people and George (that's the only name I knew him by from being in a few classes together) was walking down. Without saying a word, he smiled at me and handed me a perfect red rose. It made my day because it seemed like he saw me and could just tell I was miserable and wanted to cheer me up. That, and he was SO darn cute!!! I've never forgotten that moment and how special he made me feel. I'm sad to know he's gone.

Mike Huffman sends this update on the loss of our dear friend George Sandy Pardue. Mike is in touch with Sarah Linn. She invites phone calls and texts to chat about Sandy.
“Hello, all. This is Sarah Linn, Sandy's roomie and life partner. I have Sandy's devices and try to answer when I see a text coming through from his friends that I don't have in my contacts. Yes, we lost Sandy on 9/21/2025 due to complications from two procedures he had at the end of June, beginning of July. In the end it all happened so suddenly. It's been really hard without him. If anyone wants to contact me to get all the details, please feel free to do that. Although it's hard to rehash the end, I love to talk about him or hear stories about him. My number is 214-642-4756. Sandy's wishes were to be cremated and only have some kind of memorial if I wanted to have one for him. The consensus from all of the Dallas friends is that we do want to commemorate him, of course. I haven't been doing well so I haven't made any arrangements yet but let me know if you'd like to be contacted with the details and I will let you know. Thank you for being such good friends to Sandy all of these years!”
