From Patrick's brother Mike ..

Sad to report my brother, Patrick, passed away last Friday, April 18, from complications related to dementia”.

From Classmate Sam Jones ..
Pat was one of the first people I met when we moved to Houston in 1961. He went to Holy Ghost, to St. Thomas HS for two years, to Westbury as a junior, and as a senior went to Bellaire, Sharpstown, and back to Bellaire all within three weeks. Growing up in Meyerland, Pat and I played so many football and baseball games together that the total number has to be in the thousands. Godspeed, Paddy Dan.

Mike, I was so saddened to hear about Pat's passing, I immediately texted Sam and got some of the scoop.  Baseball came up in my conversation with Sam as well, remembering how we both go back to Pee-wee Lee Little league when we played at Saint Thomas Episcopal across the street from the Pardue mansion

As I have observed many times over the years, Pat was the best natural athlete I have ever known, be at baseball or football  Pat was a good guy who will be missed!

Pat was by far the fastest kid in the neighborhood. I recall that I believed Pat was so fast he could snatch flies out the air with his fingertips.
