ANN WHITTINGTON MCGEHEE, born January 28, 1954, passed away on January 24, 2003 in Austin, TX. Ann's interests included art history, architecture and spending time in nature, getting away from the city and camping in the wild. She was extremely intelligent and a deep thinker. She has helped others that were in need and enjoyed large gatherings of family, friends, food and the music of Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline. Most important in her life were her children, family and friends. She graduated from Bellaire High School and U.T. School of Architecture. Surviving are her children Bonnie Mc Gehee Green, Ryan McGehee, and Nathan Mc Gehee, her mother Josephine Whittington, one sister Sue Pettergill, and two brothers, Dale Whittington and Gary Whittington and their families and long time friend Pat Martin. Family will receive friends from 9:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2003 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with Graveside service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
