I knew Neill Searcy quite well beginning in 10th grade; played touch FB with him--he was an excellent FB player--in Meyerland & on various empty lots in Bellaire. Very lively, fearless & funny guy. We also roamed Westbury Square together with Gary Griffith (via Neill's car) as 15-16 yr olds...I was w/them one warm August night in 1969 as we strolled past the music store there at Westbury Sq, its outside speakers blasting "SSSSH" by Ten Years After...A chance encounter that changed my life, you could say.
