Suzanne Selman (Truax) VIEW PROFILE

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she passed peacefully—just days after meeting her newest grandson. She was surrounded by love, and her final moments were filled with the same grace, strength, and faith that defined her life.

In accordance with her wishes, we will honor her life with a celebration followed by a joyful gathering—a reflection of the way she lived: full of hope, positivity, and unshakable faith.

Services will be held:
📍 West End Church
🕚 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16
802 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007
This church was deeply meaningful to her as she was a founding family of RPCC and a dedicated volunteer in the infant room.

Reception immediately after, until 4 PM at:
📍 4112 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77007
A family-friendly venue just minutes from the church, with outdoor games, basketball/racquetball, live music, a staffed bar, and likely a taco truck—just as Mom wanted.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and faith. She spent her life lifting others up—providing care and compassion to tens of thousands through her work in healthcare and her everyday acts of encouragement.

We invite all who knew and loved her to come celebrate a life so well lived.

Please contact my son, Brian Truax if you have any questions regarding the celebration of life or reception. I am taking some time to reflect on Suzanne's amazing life and our 45 years together.

With love,
Patrick Truax & Family
