From James Kelly...
Kenny and I had been friends since Pershing Junior High. I learned of his death while watching the evening news. Kenny was a flight instructor out of William P Hobby airport. He and his student had just landed and were holding short of runway 13R waiting for another plane to take off. During that take off the second plane rolled to the left and the wing struck the runway and crashed to the ground. The second plane slide into Kenny's plane and both him and his student were killed. The accident happened on June 29, 1983.
