Julie Robeson, MD
1953-2015
On August 29, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer, Julie passed away quietly surrounded by friends and family. She was born on July 27, 1953 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to David and Anne Robeson. She is survived by her sister, Carol Goodwin, brother-in-law Jerry, and nephew Stephen and his wife Rebecca as well as relatives in Arkansas and Florida. She spent most of her life in Houston, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1985. Following her internship, she pursued further study in internal medicine with specialization in Nephrology. She worked in private practice, Memorial Hermann Hospital, and LBJ Hospital. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 5:00 pm at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 5501 Main St, Houston, TX, 77004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross or church related charities in Julie's name.
