Rebecca Morgan (Ross)

Rebecca Morgan (Ross)

Rebecca Lee Ross (nee Morgan) passed away on December 30, 2014, from the insidious effects of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Rebecca was born to George Thomas Morgan Jr. and Nancy Lee Morgan (nee Latimer) on May 31, 1953 in Seattle, Washington. Rebecca grew up in Houston, Texas and was a graduate of Bellaire High School. She was a long term employee of Rice Food Markets where she endeared herself to her co-workers and customers with her cheerful attitude and exceptional service. Rebecca married in 1978 and gave birth to the joys of her life, her daughter, Aerin, and son, Nolan. Her first marriage did not last, but later she met her soul mate, Wayne Ross, who she married in 1990. Wayne was a loving, dedicated husband, who raised Aerin and Nolan as his own, and stood by Becca's side as she experienced numerous medical travails, a debilitating car accident, and the heinous deterioration that is ALS. Despite all the trials Rebecca experienced in her life, she lived to the fullest, quick to laugh and have fun, always thinking about others instead of herself. She had a special place in her heart for her Mother, who was also her best friend, her children, her beloved husband Wayne, her brothers and sister, and her nephews and nieces who she treated as her own. Rebecca's courage and dignity was an inspiration and an example to all who knew her and were blessed with her presence. She was truly an angel on earth, and will be sorely missed.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Nancy Morgan; husband, Wayne Ross; children, Aerin and Nolan McQuiggin; step-daughters, Jennifer Music and her spouse Dan and Amy Ross; grandchildren, Emily, Henry, Grace and Alex; brothers, Kerry, Kevin, and Kelly Morgan and sister, Nancy Kay Morgan, their spouses and partners; nieces, Kyla, Juli, Lindsey, McKenzie, Aspen; nephews, Shawn, Jason, Pat, George, Trent, Thomas, and Kai.

Rebecca, you are sorely missed and will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
