Will Marasek Jr

Will Robert Marasek, Jr.

Will Marasek was born on February 9,1953 in Houston, Texas to Willie Marasek Sr. and Peggyann Marasek. He passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on October 31, 2020.

Will was raised in Bellaire, Texas and graduated from Bellaire High School. He then went on to graduate from Southwest Texas State University. While at SWT he became a runner for University Savings Bank and after graduating college he moved back to Houston and continued working for University Savings. He held many positions at the bank and ended his career as a Jr. Vice President of the Real Estate Department.

In 1989 he moved the family to Wimberley, Texas to run a real estate appraisal firm in San Marcos. A few years later he opened R&R Property Specialist in Wimberley; an appraisal company specializing in residential and commercial appraisals and sales.

Will moved himself and his business to Johnson City, Texas, in 1998, where he soon met Joan Eller. A few years later, in 2002, Will and Joan were married in one of their favorite places, Belize.

Will spent most of his life doing what he loved: fishing and hunting.  Most of his childhood and adult life were spent at the beach house or somewhere along the coast chasing redfish, trout, and flounder.  He was also an avid Fox News watcher.  Anyone that knew him, would know, no matter the time of day, that’s what he’d be watching.

Will is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim Marasek; his brother, John Marasek; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Will is survived by his wife, Joan of almost 20 years; his sons, (his favorite) Free Range, Carl (CJ) Marasek, Josh Marasek (Angela), Brandon Eller (Becky); daughter, Shauna (Heather); his granddaughters, Alexandria Eller, Addison Eller, Ava Eller, Isla Eller, Zuri Eller; and one grandson, Foster Rico.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date per his request at the ranch.

In leu of flowers, please make a donation to the Republican National Committee or to New Century Hospice in his name.
