"Ann and I met thanks to two enterprising mothers looking for carpool options. Beginning in middle school and on through high school, we were together, being driven, and then driving, the borrowed “land barges” of the times. We went through Belles together and then chose to continue at UT, also together. We had great fun exploring our new independence along with a few ensuing disasters, made wonderful friends, went on a few too many bad blind dates and the occasional good one, laughed and cried, and soothed each other’s broken teenage hearts. She had a great laugh, a strong faith, a beautiful family, and the uncommon good grace to put up with me all those years ago. I will always treasure that friendship. Fly high and free with the angels, sweet friend."
I am so sad to hear of Ann's passing. Paulette, I remember being on the same Kinsolving floor as you and Ann. we all had some laughs and navigated college life. I know that Ann was funny, kind, and a good friend to you and so many others. I know her family will miss her, as will all of us.
Genny - We had a lot of fun on that floor with our group of friends. Being wisely discreet, I won't name names or deeds, but the laughter and fun made some wonderful memories. You were a big part of that. Good times!
