Bill Barvin, 47, passed away in the loving arms of his wife Lynn Cassaniti after a two year battle with ALS or Lou Gehrings' disease.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Bob Barvin.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Marcia Barvin and his in-laws, Frank and Mye Casaniti.

Bill was the most loved, cherished, and respected brother and brother-in-law of Mark and Martha Barvin, Cynthia and Eli Rosenbaum, Paula and Dan Katzenberg, Donald and Leslie Cassaniti, Stephen and Amy Cassaniti and Bill was also adored by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill graduated from Antioch College with a BA in Philosophy and Art. He worked in the film industry for 25 years. He was a location manager and scout for television shows, commercials, and movies shot in New York. His last films were "The Hurricane" and "Rounders". He worked on TV shows including "The Sopranos", "Law and Order", "NYPD Blue", and "Central Park West". He also worked on music videos.
