Scott Robert Sommers, age 64, died unexpectedly December 30th, 2017 at his home in Houston, TX. He was born June 8th, 1953 to Beverly Mae Rosen and John Prockter Sommers. Scott was a graduate of Bellaire High School, the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and the University of Houston School of Law. He was a member in good standing of the Texas Bar Association and had practiced law independently in Houston since 1978.

Scott had a great love of music and for over 20 years worked as a radio DJ at Houston's 90.1 KPFT. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister and is survived by his daughter Zoe, 27, his son Tai, 25, and his stepmother Joanne, 77. A memorial will be held on March 25th, 2018 at 2pm at AvantGarden, 411 Westheimer, Houston, TX, 77006. Anyone wishing to attend can RSVP at srsmemorial.rsvpify.com.
