GALE HAAS LA FLEUR, age 52, succumbed to a illness suddenly on June 17, 2005. Loving wife, daughter, mother, and friend, she will be greatly missed by everyone she knew, especially her husband of 32 years Jerry La Fleur, her daughter, Beverly LaFleur and son Joe LaFleur and daughter-in-law Elaine Schaumburg La Fleur; parents Jody F. Haas and Geneva Haas and brother Jack F. Haas. While growing up she made many friends in the former Worldwide Church of God and working at the JMH Super Markets. She enjoyed singing and participation in various Sirrom School of Middle Eastern Dance troups.

After home-schooling her kids to become honor students at HBU and the U of H, she took up new challenges as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines. She brought sunshine and happiness to all those around her, and will live on in the hearts of everyone as a vibrant and free-spirited woman. About nine years ago Gale and Jerry chose Judaism and affliated with Congregation Beth Yeshurun. Services will be 3:00 Sunday at the Beth El Cemetery, 1037 N Post Oak Road at Katy Road with Rabbi Jack Segal officiating.
